Rebellion is famous for creating extreme and impressive complex watches. But the brand also proposes simpler and cheaper models. The Wraith Drive chronograph belongs to them. As large as any Rebellion watch with a diameter of 48mm, its design and mechanical movement convey the radical essence of the brand. Then comes the Predator line with the use of technical materials such carbon fiber for instance. Of course, the movements are mechanical.
Rebellion is also a brand that makes noise – it runs car-racing teams as in Endurance and Formula E this year. So it was expected to unveil a special new product, as the brand is also known for its capacity to surprise regularly. It was the Prometheus T3K. Integrating the same out of limits movement as the T1000 with 1000 hours of power reserve, its design is clearly influenced by an 80’s mood with a combination of sharp angles. And as for its predecessor, a crank manually winds it. It is very encouraging to see how a brand can work on an existing movement to create a totally new watch. And it this case, the result is a success.
