When the HL2 came out a few years ago, it was really a spectacular vessel with its many special features and audacious design including a jumping hour on a chain, retrograde minutes, and especially the crazy rotating escapement bridge. HAUTLENCE has now reinterpreted these bold elements into what has become the Vortex, in which the original movement of the HL2 has been redesigned and rotated 90 degrees. This has allowed HAUTLENCE to completely redesign the shape and size of the case, making it a much more wearable watch if you have wrists like mine! Furthermore, the escapement mechanism is now placed at the forefront of the case, allowing its happy owner to enjoy the spectacular show of each passing hour. The first series of Vortex watches are housed in a titanium case and limited to 88 timepieces.
