There have been issues with Porsche owners that when the Boxster first arrived, it looked too similar to 911. To true Porsche enthusiasts they hate to have a lesser 911 to be confused by their inbred brother the Boxster where most of its components share VW components from Beetle and such. However, Boxster and Cayman have come a long way. But the problem might have gotten worse. The 911 is safe from looking similar but now it closely resembles the $1+ million 918 Spyder.
