So McLaren will not admit this is a replacement to the MP4-12C, but why did they halt production indefinitely for the 650S? I understand McLaren is a small company producing cars on a grand scale like Ferrari, but visually it shares 90% of the MP4-12C. Well the face of McLaren, the guy who used to write and test cars for Autocar, states this car is the next model up. Ummm. I don’t think so.
